In April 1996, a new European Network was formed as a
concerted action (COST 827), with the aim of increasing the contact between researcher
interested in different aspects of "Voluntary Food Intake in Fish".
The fourth workshop of the action will be held in Reykjavík,
Iceland on the 16th - 18th of August 2001. The main tobic will be Competition, Modeling
and Regulation of Feed Intake in Fish.
Previous workshops were held in Aberdeen,
Scotland, heading: Voluntary Food Intake in Fish, Umeå,
Sweden, heading: The Feeding Behaviour of Fish in Culture and Maratea,
Italy, heading: Diet Selection by Fish - Variability in Feeding Behaviour
Leading researchers have been invited to make keynote presentations at this fourth
workshop. Ample time is ment for discussions in each section and posters will get special
atention. We hope that you will be able to take part in the workshop and look forward to
seeing you in Reykjavik on August 16 - 18 2001!
